- Remuneration: $122,852 to $134,385 pa (HEW7) (inclusive of $103,811 to $113,557 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Student Profile Modelling Analyst to join the Strategy and Investment Portfolio, Chancellery Division.
As a Student Profile Modelling Analyst in Strategic Planning and Performance, you will be part of a small team dedicated to student load planning. The team is response for developing and integrating systems, tools, and processes to support student profile and load planning that best suits strategy. Working closely with team members and stakeholders across the university, this role plays a key part in developing and applying study load modelling and scenario planning to inform strategic decision making. This role will support the development of robust, data-driven insights and contribute to capability building in business intelligence, forecasting and planning across the university. The Student Profile Modelling Analyst position will undertake a range of activities including supporting business case development, student load planning and costing. This may include leveraging off available data on student load scenarios and forecasts along with business costing data sets.

The Strategic Planning and Performance Department is a key enabling function within the Strategy and Investment Portfolio. It is responsible for leading institution-wide planning, performance analysis, and strategic investment processes that underpin the university’s academic and financial sustainability.
The department provides high-level advice and analytics to support executive decision-making, student load planning, and business cases for academic program development. Working collaboratively with teams across the university, the department promotes a culture of data-informed planning, continuous improvement, and strategic agility.
What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to the completion of a degree in conjunction with subsequent relevant experience.
- Proven experience in the use of enterprise wide financial and non-financial information for decision making in large complex organisations.
- High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate and connect with colleagues, clients and external stakeholders in a confidential manner.
- High level digital literacy skills in various software applications such spreadsheet, database and visualisation packages for strategic planning and resourcing purposes. Example applications include (Anaplan, Hyperion and Power BI)
- Demonstrated high level time management and analytical skills with the ability to maintain and set priorities, and to communicate accurately on financial and project data in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
