Student Recruitment Coordinator

Position Summary

AUIB is seeking a dynamic and service-oriented Recruitment Coordinator to support the University’s enrollment goals through recruitment events, prospective-student engagement, and outreach activities. In this role, the Recruitment Coordinator will coordinate and deliver recruitment initiatives, respond to admissions inquiries, build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and maintain accurate engagement records. If you are organized, collaborative, and passionate about supporting students and promoting AUIB’s academic programs, this role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to the University’s visibility and enrollment efforts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan & Coordinate Recruitment Events: Develop recruitment events aligned with AUIB’s enrollment priorities and designed to attract high-quality prospective students.

2. Deliver Recruitment Events: Work with the MarCom event team to deliver assigned events supporting AUIB’s enrollment and retention objectives.

3. Build Stakeholder Relationships: Establish and strengthen productive relationships with AUIB teams and external stakeholders.

4. Respond to Admissions Inquiries: Provide prospective students and visitors with accurate, timely, and helpful information about AUIB admissions requirements and processes.

5. Represent AUIB & Maintain Engagement Records: Represent AUIB professionally, maintain knowledge of programs across its seven colleges, document interactions, and collect data to support follow-up and reporting.

1. Teamwork & Communication: Communicates effectively and works collaboratively with colleagues, students, and external stakeholders.

2. Problem Solving & Decision-Making: Approaches issues practically and makes sound decisions in support of recruitment activities.

3. Organization & Time Management: Plans effectively, manages multiple priorities, and maintains accurate records.

4. Adaptability & Flexibility: Adjusts to changing priorities, event requirements, and travel or scheduling needs.

5. Project Coordination: Coordinates activities, stakeholders, and timelines to deliver recruitment initiatives successfully.

Education and Experience

• Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field required; master’s degree preferred.

• Years of Relevant Experience: 5 years of administrative experience required; experience in the higher education sector preferred.

• Specific Skills or Expertise: Teamwork and communication; problem solving and decision-making; Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); organizational and time management; adaptability and flexibility; project coordination; Arabic and upper-intermediate English.

• Additional Certifications: No specific certification is explicitly required in the Job Description.
