Position Summary
The Program in Occupational Therapy is seeking a Student Research Worker to work with the PI and research assistants to organize laboratory materials related to behavioral research.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with community and research partners
- Organize meetings, minutes, reports, and executive summaries
- Organize participant recruitment
- Research coding (qualitative and quantitative methods): Experience with mixed methods research designs will be preferred
- Conduct literature searches
- Enter data in databases, data management
- Manuscript formatting for various editorial systems
- Perform other duties as required/requested.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social sciences, and/or data science
- Current Student enrolled at Columbia University
Preferred Qualifications
- Current student at the Mailman School of Public Health (preferred)
- B.A. or B.S. degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, or other appropriate science discipline.
- Previous experience working in a research laboratory setting is desirable
