Responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and assisting students visiting the food pantry, ensuring a positive and confidential experience
- Operate the pantry checkout process and record accurate data in the tracking software
- Stock shelves, rotate inventory, and maintain a clean, organized pantry space
- Collect and input data to support reporting and assessment needs
- Collaborate with staff to plan and implement foals and initiatives for the current and upcoming academic years
- Promote awareness of pantry services and connect students to additional campus and community resources as needed
- Participating in staff meetings and trainings to continually improve pantry operations and outreach
Qualifications
Current college student (registered for Fall 2026) in good standing
Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting food security and student wellbing
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Basic computer sills and willingness to learn pantry software ("PantrySoft")
Minimum Qualifications
Must be registered for Fall 2026 courses. Will have to take HIPPA certification training.
Preferred Qualifications
Some retail, customer service, or support service experience
