Job Description:

The Lansing School of Nursing and Clinical Sciences of Bellarmine University invites applications for a 12-month staff appointment as Student Success Specialist. The anticipated start date for this position is September 14, 2026.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating retention activities for individual nursing students and undergraduate student cohorts in collaboration with the leadership team, faculty, and staff. The Student Success Specialist helps at-risk undergraduate nursing students understand factors that may impede their success and guides them in developing motivation strategies and overcoming barriers. In addition, the position includes providing support and other related services or referrals to foster student retention and success in the nursing program while serving as a central point of contact. Reports to the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs. Salary and rank are commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

• MSN or completion of a minimum of 18 credits of coursework toward an MSN required;
