This position is responsible for assisting the Student Services Specialist for Registration and Records, the Registration and Records Analyst, and the Registrar in daily tasks. A student in this position will provide customer service to students in person, by telephone, and by email.
Examples of Duties
- Scan, label, and file incoming documents into students' folders in a specified database.
- Assist in answering incoming phone calls to Registration and Records.
- Process outgoing mail.
- Enter student transcript requests into Colleague.
- Assist in preparation of documents for distribution.
- Provide assistance to the Student Services Specialist for Registration and Records, the Registration and Records Analyst, and the Registrar as needed.
- Supports and serves as a role model for our mission, vision, strategic and service initiatives. Adheres to the organization's policies & procedures, and compliance guidelines.

- Per the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), a federal consumer protection law, your job position entails functions that meet the definition of a Campus Security Authority (CSA). CSAs have a duty to report any crime to the College's Clery Compliance Officer. This information may be disclosed to them directly, through third-party, or witnessed. As a CSA, you are required to complete annual training which is provided by the College. This training encompasses your role, responsibilities, and reporting obligations.

Typical Qualifications
Education, Certification, Licensure:
- High school diploma and current enrollment at Mid.
Experience:
- Experience with customer service in an office setting is strongly preferred.
Supplemental Information
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively, in verbal and written format, with various constituencies including students, faculty, administrators, and community members.
- Above average to excellent computer skills, including: keyboarding speed and accuracy, knowledge of data entry, word processing procedures, and spreadsheet usage.
- Excellent telephone, email, and person-to-person etiquette.
- Above average composition and arithmetic skills.
