The Rutgers University, Graduate School of Education, invites applications for Lecturer (Formerly PTL) teaching positions in the department of Educational Psychology during the Summer 2026 Session (May 26, 2026 through August 12, 2026).
Successful applicants will instruct undergraduate or graduate level courses in at least one of the following content areas:
- School Counseling and Counseling Psychology
- College Student Affairs and Higher Education
- Educational Psychology: Learning & Cognition and/or Human Development
- Gifted Education
- Special Education
- Educational Statistics, Measurement, and/or Evaluation
Courses will be offered in a range of modalities beyond traditional settings, including hybrid and online formats. Course appointments are in the New Brunswick area, as well as hybrid/online format.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
- Masters Degree Required.
- Doctorate Degree Preferred.
Applicants with other degrees from an accredited institution will be considered. Some prior teaching experience and/or work experience relevant to the areas listed above.
Statement
Instructors are expected to attend orientation, submit syllabus, respond to student emails and submit grades as per contract.
