Position Summary:
The Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies provides access to degrees and non-credit programs that engage, educate and empower lifelong learners and communities. The Office of Summer Sessions and Precollege Programs designs, develops and supports the creation of new, in-demand, multidisciplinary credit-bearing summer courses and non-credit precollege programs across campus, so more students from various backgrounds are served, including rising high schoolers. The Office of Summer Sessions & Precollege Programs seeks a Program Administrator II to join the team - a role that provides administrative and programmatic support for a range of new initiatives, including the coaching and enrollment of visiting high schoolers for the summer semester. The incumbent will also help organize annual community events and maintain important office records, including strategic plans, annual budgets and expense reports, as needed.

Workplace Requirements:
This position is offered as a hybrid role, combining both in-office and remote work to provide flexibility and support collaboration. Eventually, the program coordinator may work from home for up to two (2) days per week. Per Rice policy 440 , work arrangements may be subject to change.
Hiring Range : $49,187 - $61,408 annually
*Exempt (salaried) positions under FLSA are not eligible for overtime.

- Bachelor’s Degree
- In lieu of the education requirement, additional related experience, above and beyond what is required, may be substituted on an equivalent year-for-year basis.
