Summer Temp - Facilities Planning & Management
The Summer Facilities Support Worker will assist with a variety of tasks to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of the property. This temporary position combines duties in maintenance, groundskeeping, custodial services, compost management, and administrative support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance:
- Filter Changes: Perform routine air filter changes for HVAC systems.
- General Maintenance: Assist with light carpentry, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
- Plumbing: Help with basic plumbing tasks.
- Inventory Control: Assist in tracking and managing inventory of maintenance tools and supplies.
- Preventive Maintenance: Support preventive maintenance tasks.
Groundskeeping and Environmental Services:
- Composting, Waste Management, Recycling, Sports Turf Management, Street and Grounds Maintenance, Landscaping.
Custodial Services:
- Cleaning, Trash Removal, Floor Care, Supply Management.
Administrative Support:
- Office Assistance, Document Management, Scheduling, Data Entry, Event Support.
Additional responsibilities include safety protocols, emergency response, team support, and adherence to Liberty University policies and Christian mission.
QUALIFICATIONS AND CREDENTIALS
High school diploma or GED. Some experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, custodial services, or office administration preferred. Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds. Valid driver's license if applicable.
