Job Description:
SUNY Broome Community College invites applications for qualified candidates to teach as part-time Supervising Dentists within the Dental Hygiene Department.
Supervising Dentists will teach in the on-campus clinic. Opportunities vary by semester.
The Dental Hygiene department is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time Supervising Dentist positions. Applications are accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Review of medical histories.
- Approval of impressions and mouthguard fittings.
- Adjusting dental sealants.
- Review of dental radiographic images.
Requirements:
- Active New York State Dental license (D.D.S. or D.M.D.).
- Dental Clinical experience. Teaching experience preferred.
- Current CPR certification by New York State approved provider.
- Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship from the employer.
Additional Information:
The hourly rate for this position is $93.46.
Offers of employment will be conditional based upon the results
of a satisfactory, required pre-employment Standard Background
