Since 1989, TTUHSC Managed Care has served as a healthcare delivery service, providing high-quality, low cost healthcare to patients within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice system. The John Montford Unit in Lubbock, TX is an accredited regional medical and mental health facility, within the TTUHSC Managed Care system which specializes in providing access to a comprehensive array of medical, psychiatric, and ancillary healthcare services. Visa Information

TTUHSC, at its sole discretion, may initiate new H-1B I-129 visa petitions in accordance with the directive issued by Governor Abbott. Approval from the Texas Workforce Commission is required. On a limited, case-by-case basis, the institution may also sponsor eligible individuals for change-of-status or change-of-employer petitions for qualifying positions. TTUHSC will not pay the $100,000 fee, if applicable.

Position Description

Performs skilled mechanical and/or analytical duties in the coordination and completion of projects. Work is performed under general guidelines using established procedures and evaluated on results obtained. May supervise subordinate employees.

Major/Essential Functions

This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail in completing critical functions in a correctional hospital setting, such as:

• Ordering time-sensitive supplies for Surgery, Radiology, and Specialty clinics.
• Ordering and maintaining par levels for consumable supplies in an in-patient facility.
