Support Coordinator for JIHL
Mō te tūka | The role
Recently, Lincoln University partnered with Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU) in Wuhan, China, to develop a joint programme comprising four undergraduate qualifications and one postgraduate qualification. To support the delivery of these programmes, the two universities have established the Joint Institute Huazhong Lincoln (JIHL).
In this role you will manage student enrolments, assessment, and results, while providing pastoral care and ensuring smooth academic operations. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a global partnership and positively impact student experiences.
Some tasks of the role include:
- Coordinating admissions and enrolments for JIHL students
- Managing exam timetables, venues, and online assessments
- Recruiting and rostering exam invigilators and support staff
- Ensuring accurate grade entry and results reporting
- Administering aegrotat, recount, and reconsideration applications
- Processing completions and graduation eligibility
Permanent role, 30 hours per week (0.8 FTE) at our Lincoln Campus, working Monday to Friday six hours each day. Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience.

You will have:
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience working with diverse groups in large organisations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems

- Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage
