Organic Unit: Administrative Services Coordination of Oeiras Campus
Scholarship Theme: Support for the activities of Técnico Venture Lab, namely in the organisation of capacity-building initiatives and communication with the community.
Duration: 6 months
Maximum Duration Including Renewals: 12 months
Objectives
The work will be carried out within Técnico Venture Lab (TVL), the startup incubator of Instituto Superior Técnico at the Oeiras Campus, with a focus on the development and implementation of initiatives supporting the entrepreneurial community based at the incubator, as well as startups participating in the virtual incubation programme. The aim is to strengthen TVL's internal capacity to develop its strategic areas of activity and to design and deliver support initiatives in collaboration with both internal and external trainers and experts.
Work Plan
The main tasks to be carried out include:
- Supporting the design and development of initiatives for startups, including the planning and coordination of activities that foster entrepreneurship and innovation.
- Creating content and communicating with the target audience of the various initiatives, using appropriate communication channels to promote engagement and participation.
- Supporting the implementation of Técnico Venture Lab's flagship programmes in its strategic verticals, namely Space, Construction, and Robotics.
This fellowship work plan provides the fellow with the opportunity to engage in scientific activities while acquiring practical knowledge and skills in the areas covered by the activity plan. Given the multidisciplinary nature of these activities, the work requires competencies across several fields and contributes to the fellow's professional development. In addition, it offers valuable experience in teamwork, communication, responsibility, initiative, and innovation.

Curricular evaluation weighted to 50% on a scale of 20 points with a minimum of 10 points needed for admission.
Carta motivação weighted to 25% on a scale of 20 points with a minimum of 10 points needed for admission.
Individual interview weighted to 25% on a scale of 20 points with a minimum of 10 points needed for admission.
Conditions for the Contest Evaluation
FC = (0.50 × Curriculum Assessment) + (0.25 × Motivation Letter) + (0.25 × Interview Evaluation)
