Description

The Division of Transplant Surgery in the Department of Surgery is seeking a mid-career Assistant/Associate Professor, Multi-Organ Transplant Surgeon to join our team and play a key role in the continued growth and advancement of our abdominal transplant program. This is an outstanding opportunity to become part of a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary transplant team dedicated to clinical excellence, innovative research, and the education of future transplant surgeons.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced transplant surgeon with expertise in kidney and liver transplant surgery. Experience in minimally invasive and robotic techniques is desirable. The successful candidate will contribute to the continued expansion of our liver transplant program, working closely with our experienced team of transplant surgeons, hepatologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and allied health professionals.

Qualifications

In addition to clinical excellence, we seek a surgeon who is deeply committed to teaching, mentoring, and educating medical students, residents, and fellows. The Yale School of Medicine has an extensive research infrastructure with opportunities for collaborative research with acclaimed scientists. The Division of Organ Transplantation provides statistical support for conducting clinical research and has a clinical trials unit. This is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon to join a growing transplant program and develop an academic career in transplantation.
