"Surgical Technologist, Per Diem"

This shift for this position is Monday-Friday (variable days); 7am-3:30pm or 9am-5:30pm

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Sr. Surgical Technologist assists in the preparation, processing, care and maintenance of instruments, supplies and equipment, and functions as a member of the surgical team during operative procedures.

The individual must know aseptic technique and be able to scrub independently in orthopaedic procedures anticipating the needs of the surgeon and have knowledge in the sequencing of the surgical procedures.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $65.86 (Hourly Rate).
