Recruitment Positions and Requirements

(1) Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering

(2) High-Level Leading Talents

Requirements: i) Having profound academic achievements recognized by peers both domestically and internationally. Able to meet national strategic needs and regional economic development requirements. Capable of leading discipline construction and promoting the development of the university, Including recipients of national talent engineering plans, national highest awards, or those with equivalent academic levels. ii) Age generally not exceeding 55 years.

(3) Young and Middle-Aged Academic Backbones

Requirements: i) Engaged in forward-looking, innovative research in areas of national major needs and academic frontiers. Having achieved significant research results with important academic influence. Possessing strong academic potential and are recognized as young and middle-aged academic leaders. ii) For natural sciences, age generally not exceeding 45 years; for humanities and social sciences, age generally not exceeding 50 years.

(4) Applicants for Overseas Excellent Young Scientists Fund Project

Must meet the relevant requirements of the National Natural Science Foundation of China’s Excellent Young Scientists Fund Project (Overseas).

(5) Excellent Young Talents

Requirements: i) Research directions should address national major needs and academic frontiers, and align with the development needs of the university. Engaged in forward-looking, innovative research with strong academic potential. ii) Age generally not exceeding 32 years; for postdoctoral researchers leaving the station within the current year, age generally not exceeding 35 years.

(6) Experimental Teachers

Requirements: i) Possessing a doctoral degree. Capable of innovative R&D of large-scale instruments and key experimental technologies. Providing advanced technical support for major scientific research projects. ii) Age generally not exceeding 35 years.

(7) Full-Time Postdoctoral Fellows

i) Specially Funded Postdoctoral Fellows: Must have received support from the National Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Plan, the National Postdoctoral International Exchange Program, or the Shandong Provincial Postdoctoral Innovation Talent Support Plan. Graduated within the past three years, age generally not exceeding 35 years.

ii) Key Funded Postdoctoral Fellows: Must meet the performance standards of Qingdao University’s Young Excellent Talent Program. Graduated from a top 200 global university or have a doctoral degree in a discipline ranked in the top 200 globally or from a “Double First-Class” discipline at a “Double First-Class” university in China. Graduated within the past three years, age generally not exceeding 35 years.

iii) Generally Funded Postdoctoral Fellows: Must be an excellent doctoral graduate from a well-known domestic or foreign university within the past three years, with strong academic ability and development potential. Age generally not exceeding 35 years.

iv) Project Funded Postdoctoral Fellows: Must be a doctoral graduate from a domestic or foreign university within the past three years. Age generally not exceeding 35 years.
