The Tarleton Today Instructor is a 10-month non-tenure-track position with an as needed additional 2-month summer appointment, based on Tarleton's main campus in Stephenville, Texas.
If needed, the summer appointment is a 50% effort position with intermittent workdays following a predetermined schedule from June 1 to July 31. The 10-month appointment will be full-time, running from August 1 to May 31.
Work hours for the 10-month appointment: Mon-Fri; 8 AM-5 PM or as work and teaching requirements indicate. May be assigned to teach at various campus locations or through approved instructional modalities, as determined by the institution based on operational needs. Serves as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellence and innovation in teaching, mentor undergraduate students, and participate in the necessary operation of the institution.
