Located in Ōtautahi | Christchurch, Aotearoa | New Zealand

  • Part-time (30 hours per week - 0.8FTE)
  • Fixed-term position (to July 2026)

Āu Mahi | What You Will Do

Join a dynamic and collaborative team at the UC Business School, where your exceptional organisational and administrative skills will shine. As a Tautāwhi | Administrator, you'll be the backbone of smooth operations—delivering high-quality support across a wide range of academic and general administrative functions.

You'll be involved in:

  • Coordinating academic support contracts and processing timesheets
  • Managing course-related admin including grading and examination support
  • Coordinating events, workshops, and travel arrangements
  • Maintaining efficient filing systems and information repositories
  • Liaising across teams and services to ensure seamless communication and support.

Mōu | Who You Are

You are a proactive, detail-orientated administrator with outstanding time management and multitasking abilities. You bring a professional and approachable manner to all your work, with the confidence to manage multiple priorities and liaise across teams.

Your skillset includes:

  • 3+ years' experience in administrative roles preferably in a large, complex organisation
  • experience in tertiary education or knowledge of the NZ education system, is an advantage
  • proven ability to juggle competing deadlines with ease and accuracy
  • confidence working with systems like Microsoft Office, databases, and online platforms
  • a customer-first mindset and clear, professional communication skills
  • experience with course, event, or workshop coordination
  • cultural awareness and a strong commitment to manaakitanga and inclusiveness
  • an alignment with our organisation's values and culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
