About the Team:
The Electrotechnology team sits within Victoria University’s TAFE division and delivers high-quality, industry-relevant education across the Electrotechnology industry.
The team is highly collaborative, student-focused and committed to continuous improvement, innovation and excellence in teaching and assessment. About the Role:
As a TAFE Teacher (Electrotechnology), you will have the opportunity to share your trade experience with the next generation of students. You will collaborate with other teachers in developing learning resources for our courses, as well as training and assessing students, and maintaining accurate records.
Position Key Duties:
Facilitate learning and establish educational and assessment strategies to engage a diverse student cohort.
To work in and with current and prospective industry partners and enterprises
Establishing and maintaining a positive learning environment
Ensure quality compliance of the requirements of ASQA, VRQA, HESG service agreements within your delivery and assessment.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment in accordance with the National VET Regulator including the requirements of moderation and validation of assessment
There are X3 positions available
Salary: VT3-VT5 $93,058-$117,998 per annum
Employment Type: Fixed term (2 years)
Hours: full time (38 hours per week)
Location: Sunshine

About You:
You will need to hold relevant and/or current electrical trade qualifications in the electrical industry – A grade Electrical Licence preferred.
A Training and Assessment qualification: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122); or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) with Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (TAELLN411 or TAELLN401); and Design and Develop Assessment Tools (TAEASS502, TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B)
Are passionate about sharing your knowledge with the next generation of electricians and electrotechnology workers.
Willingness to continually learn and develop as a TAFE Teacher.
Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
The University is a Child Safe organisation. You will be required to hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing employment. Who to Contact?
