"Student Systems Officer"

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Permanent/continuing, full-time appointment 
• Level 5: $77,228 - $87,337 + 17% superannuation

The Student Systems Team within the Student Administration Services Division is responsible for the development, support and maintenance of the Student Management Package (SMP) and associated systems.

The Student Systems Officer role exists to ensure that users of systems are granted the correct level of access required to do their jobs and that key maintenance functions required to ensure continuity of core business processes are completed on time. This role also provides support for the Student Systems Development process, which can involve evaluating system change requests, developing business requirements, testing changes to systems and documenting and implementing change. 

Position Description

You will be the first point of contact for users of systems who require support and training, which can often require the investigation of complex issues and having to provide specialist advice. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing user support and training for information systems and have excellent problem solving and analytical skills, a strong customer focus and be committed to continuous improvement. The ability work independently without close supervision and manage personal workload and schedule is a key requirement of this role.
