Business Analyst SAP HR Payroll
Mission
EPFL has major challenges in terms of information system management. The Information Systems Department (ISD) is responsible for implementing EPFL's digital strategy. These missions include, in a combination of direct and matrix responsibilities, the development and implementation of EPFL's IT strategy and master plan, the digitalization of business processes, IT security, the management of central IT infrastructures, the management of core business applications, as well as coordination with the IT departments of the Faculties.
The IT department is looking for an SAP HR Business Analyst. The incumbent must be a specialist in the field of SAP-HR human resources. His or her first mission will be to assist us in the migration to S/4 Hana and SuccessFactors of our ERP. He/she will also guarantee the maintenance and evolution of the SAP HR platform, to cover the needs of the business. He/she will participate in projects, working in partnership with the various EPFL departments and other external partners.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in and lead requests for changes and developments in his/her area of responsibility, as an SAP HR
Business Analyst • Define and conceptualize the solution in collaboration with the business
• Establish the estimate of the necessary workload and ensure follow-up with the teams
• Manage the configuration of modules in his/her field of expertise and ensure the realization of tests before PRD
• Handle tasks related to:
o Time Management (HR-PT),
o Payroll Management (HR-PY),
o Personnel Administration (HR-PA)
o Organization Management (HR-OM)
o SuccessFactors
Participation in projects / coordination activities followed in his/her field of expertise:
• Organize non-regression tests, validate test scenarios and ensure the participation of the users concerned
• Ensure that functional documentation is produced and accessible to the whole team
Corrective and evolutionary maintenance as part of the support:
• Manage and coordinate the resolution of tickets (incidents, requests, evolutions) that are assigned to the team
• Ensure and manage the implementation of change requests according to the scope, time and resources agreed with the business
requester • Work closely with Service Managers to maintain a good level of service
Other tasks:
• Ensure good coordination with other functional and technical areas in terms of SAP systems and/or in liaison with SAP
• Replace a team colleague
Profile
• Advanced degree in computer science (HES, University or ETH) or equivalent education
• Expert in SAP HCM (minimum 5 years) – configuration and configuration of SAP HR
modules • Proven knowledge of Swiss
payroll • Good knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors
cloud solutions • S/4HANA experience is an asset
• Certification in project management is a plus
• Excellent ability to understand and gather the needs of his interlocutors
• Great ability to synthesize and good communication
skills • Strong solution and customer
orientation • Strong sense of service, seeking dialogue while having and defending one's convictions
• Rigour, precision, proactivity
• Languages: Excellent knowledge of French and English (B2), German is a plus
