  • Term: Fixed-term, full-time basis to 31 December 2025
  • Remuneration: $130,901 to $148,369 pa (HEW8) (inclusive of $110,613 to $125,373 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
  • Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)
  • Open to: Current staff members of QUT who have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the fixed-term appointment. In support of our strategic priority of Indigenous Australian success, Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islander people who are not QUT staff are also eligible and encouraged to apply. Please note that current staff wishing to be considered for secondment to this position must seek prior approval from their supervisor before submitting an application.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join Office of the Executive Dean, Faculty of Health, Academic Division.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and progressing the course accreditation submissions and operational activities required to establish and support the new School of Clinical Medicine and associated courses within the Faculty of Health. The Project Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Dean and Head of School, senior academic leaders, staff within the School and across the Faculty and University, and with external stakeholders.

The School of Clinical Medicine is a newly established School within the Faculty of Health. The School brings together medically qualified academic staff to create greater opportunities for collaboration and raise the profile of QUT’s existing strengths in clinical medicine..

What you need to succeed

  1. Education, training and/or experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications, or progress towards postgraduate qualifications with extensive relevant experience. 
  2. Experience in delivering high level project management outcomes in a complex environment. 
  3. Demonstrated resource, financial management and budgeting experience. 
  4. Experience with coordinating course accreditation processes and materials
  5. Extensive written communication skills with well-developed analytical and research skills that enable you to prepare a range of complex documentation and presentations using a variety of digital technologies. 
  6. Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal skills including experience in engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  7. High-level administrative and organisational skills with a proven ability to effectively plan and prioritise tasks with limited direction, in the support of School activities in a timely manner.
