Mō te tūka | The role
We're looking for an outgoing, engaging individual, with experience in relationship building, sales and marketing to join the Student Liaison team. The team facilitates opportunities, provides information and offers support to secondary schools, employers and communities to promote our programmes, including those focused on agriculture.

The key to your success in this role will be your ability to use your initiative and grab any opportunity to promote Lincoln University as a study destination. You need to be able to think on your feet and adapt quickly to changing priorities whilst keeping the student at the core.
This is a permanent role, working an average of 37.5 hours per week, based in Christchurch. The salary is set at $75,000 per annum.
Kā tino Pūkeka/Whēako | Essential skills/experience for the role
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Full, clean, New Zealand Driver's Licence
- Ability to present to and engage with large audiences.
- Minimum three years in a relationship management, sales or advisory position
- The flexibility and resilience to cope with large amounts of travel (max 12 weeks per year).
- An energetic and enthusiastic approach to providing excellent customer service.
- Able to work independently, but also collaboratively, sharing knowledge within the team and working with others to achieve/exceed objectives and targets.
- Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work well under pressure, maintaining effectiveness when faced with the demand of the variable workloads or tight deadlines.
- Competency in te reo Māori me ōna tikaka is an advantage
- Experience working in a tertiary education environment is desirable
- A Level 7 tertiary education qualification is strongly preferred - preferably in a relevant subject
