The School of Health Medical and Applied Sciences career-oriented programs are taught by enthusiastic staff with extensive industry experience, expertise in research, teaching and consulting in their areas of interest. The School offers a number of career pathways across out four Colleges: Science and Sustainability, Clinical Sciences, Health Sciences and, Psychology.

We are seeking expressions of interest from appropriately qualified professionals in clinical or professional psychology for teaching and marking during 2024.  

Applicants located in the Rockhampton Central Queensland region are specifically sought for roles providing teaching or supervision on the Rockhampton campus. Applicants from other regions are sought to provide teaching or supervision via videoconferencing.  

CQUniversity offers three terms of enrolment per year and casual academic staff are contracted based on student enrolments each term. You will be contacted should an opportunity become available.

Position Requirements

• Mandatory qualifications: a Masters or Doctorate level qualification in psychology.
• Desirable: General registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist OR an area of practice endorsement in clinical or health psychology OR Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor status.
