We are seeking an experienced administrator for a recently awarded EPSRC Programme Grant focussed on the development of the Statistical Foundations for Detecting Anomalous Structure in Stream Settings (DASS).

You will be responsible for the smooth running of the administration and processes of this exciting £4M programme of research led jointly by researchers at Lancaster, Bristol, Warwick and the London School of Economics. The broad areas of responsibility are the organisation of project meetings, workshops and conferences, financial management, and extensive management of external relationships with stakeholders. You will take ownership of these roles and ensure a high quality of service to programme’s leadership team.

To succeed in the post you will have a proven track record of administering and facilitating a large scale initiative; the ability to work pro-actively; have excellent and efficient organisational skills; have strong strategic vision and team working skills; have the ability to build trusted and strong relationships at all levels through excellent communication skills; experience of controlling and monitoring complex finances; and to be an advanced level user of Microsoft Office.

The position is available on a part-time, 0.8FTE basis, available from September. You will join us on an indefinite contract however the role remains contingent on external funding which, at this time, is due to come to an end in August 2029.
