About the Role

The Health, Safety & Wellbeing Project & Reporting Advisor position at Swinburne University of Technology (SUT) within the People & Culture department is responsible for providing project and administrative support to the Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HS&W) team. Reporting to the HS&W Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure a high level of service delivery. 

Key responsibilities include tracking and reporting achievements and milestones during the safety modernisation program, contributing to the evolution of Swinburne's safety culture. Proficiency in reporting and advanced Excel skills are essential for this role, as the candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analysing data to support the team's objectives. About You 

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting Health, Safety & Wellbeing and project management in a dynamic, complex and fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in process mapping and knowledge or experience using lean/ six sigma methodology
  • Advanced technical skills and experience in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Visio and experience and skills in web content management and HS&W system administration


Qualifications

  • Extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields
