Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent
Skills/Qualifications
- medical degree,
- licence to practise,
- experience of teaching students in the fields of pharmacology and clinical pharmacology,
- proficiency in medical English sufficient to teach English-speaking students,
- for foreign nationals, proficiency in spoken and written Polish is required.
An additional advantage would be:
- a record of publications.

Additional Information
Selection process
- a written declaration of will to participate in the competition, addressed to the Rector,
- personal questionnaire for the person applying for employment,
- declaration of no criminal record,
- copies of documents confirming education and professional qualifications, in particular: higher education diploma, license to practice dentistry, certificate of recognition of a foreign diploma as equivalent to a Polish diploma (if applicable),
- other documents confirming your qualifications (a list of publications with IF scores, ministerial scores, certificates held, etc.)
Required statements:
- statement of consent to process the personal data,
- a statement declaring that if the applicant wins the competition, the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice will be the primary place of employment, according to the Law on Higher Education and Science,
- statement of:
- having full legal capacity,
- enjoying full public rights,
- not being convicted of an intentional crime or intentional fiscal offence by a valid sentence,
- not being punished with a disciplinary penalty referred to in Article 276(1)(7) and (8) of the Law on Higher Education and Science;
- declaration of no other citizenship than one of the Republic of Poland and no residence in countries other than the Republic of Poland and country of citizenship during the last 20 years, pursuant to art. 21 par. 4 and 5 of the Act on the prevention of sexual violence and protection of the minors.
Submission of documents
Documents should be submitted in Polish, in a sealed envelope (signed with your name, surname) with an annotation:
"Competition for the Position of Teaching Assistant at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice"
in person or by mail
by 21.09.2026 at 15:30 (the date of receipt of the documents is decisive)
to the Chancellery of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, 15 Poniatowskiego Street, room 11, ground floor, Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
