"Teaching Assistant Professor of Nursing"

This is a full-time, academic year (9 month), in-person teaching academic staff position in nursing.

The position is primarily responsible for teaching academic courses for nursing students enrolled in the UWSP RN to BSN Completion program and the University of Wisconsin Collaborative BSN@Home online program. Excellence in teaching, professional development, and service are required for retention and promotion. The successful candidate will also participate in activities related to: maintaining Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation; working collaboratively with BSN@Home partners; engaging in assessment; pursuing curricular improvements; advising nursing students and preparing academic plans. Additional responsibilities of this position include engaging in Nursing Program and School of Health Sciences and Wellness and university activities, participating in student recruitment efforts, and maintaining RN licensure and appropriate membership in professional organizations.
