Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Teaching Associate (between 60 and 100% FTE), who will support a pilot project in the Natural Sciences Undergraduate Course (Tripos), led by the Yusuf Hamied Department of Chemistry, as part of the Pathways to Inclusive Practice programme. You will support all aspects of the project, e.g. support creation of competence standards and learning outcomes across NST; work towards creation of more accessible materials and improved systems for management of student support documents; create resources and support for staff; contribute to work across NST to understand awarding gaps.

You will work under the supervision of the Chemistry Department Curriculum Review leads, together with undergraduate teams in NST departments across the Schools of the Biological and Physical Sciences, with support from the Inclusive Education Hub and key colleagues in our central specialist teams.

Educated to PhD level, and/or with an appropriate teaching qualification, you will have a background in STEM education at University or FE level, with a proven track record, as well as ideally academic interest and professional experience in the development of inclusive teaching practice in STEM.
