The Division of Integrative Systems and Design runs a wide variety of teaching and research projects that are multi-disciplinary. These projects use a wide range of technology and tools, including mechanical design and machines, electronics systems design, materials and shape design and IT systems design. The Division is looking for a candidate who is interested in any one of these areas, and is expected to (a) assist course instructors in running innovation project courses; and (b) conduct course tutorials.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in a relevant subject. Teaching experience in a related field is desirable. Applicants should have good skills in one or more of the following areas: programming (machine learning, AR/VR, web and app development), CAD/graphics and automation. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills and is passionate in working with motivated and dynamic students. Candidates with less work experience may be considered for appointment as an Instructional Assistant. (Duration: 1 year, renewable)
