The Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak has been established by an Act of the Parliament of India. It came into existence by the Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Act, 2007 and came into action on July 2008. The jurisdiction of the University extends to the whole country and it is fully funded by the Central Government through the University Grant Commission.

Essential Qualifications:

• Project Assistant: 1. A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognized university 2. Proficiency in Computer Operation (MS Office), Noting, and Drafting
• Computer Assistant: 1. A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognized university 2. English Typewriting @35wpm 3. Proficiency in computer operation 4. Knowledge of computer software related to graphics designing (Photoshop, Canva, and CorelDraw etc. for designing the certificates)
• Support staff: 1. Passed 10+2 from any recognized Board/Council 2. Knowledge of computer operation

Pay Scale:

• Project Assistant: Rs. 35,000/-
• Computer Assistant: Rs. 30,000/-
• Support staff: Rs. 22,000/-
