Faculty Recruitment: Glasgow College Hainan, UESTC
To support the innovative teaching model of the undergraduate programs at Glasgow College Hainan, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), we are now openly recruiting Teaching Faculty members. We sincerely invite outstanding talents worldwide in fields such as Electronics, Communications, Microelectronics, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning to take charge of full-English teaching for the college’s specialized disciplines. Details are as follows:
I. Job Responsibilities
- Passionate about higher education, possessing high moral character, and strictly abiding by academic norms.
- Teach a minimum of 200 credit hours per year in the fields of Electronics, Information, and Communication Engineering. This includes lecturing, conducting tutorials, supervising laboratory sessions, and performing other designated teaching-related duties.
- Supervise and evaluate undergraduate co-curricular/extracurricular practical projects, graduation designs, and theses.
- Guide and supervise the work of postgraduate Teaching Assistants (TAs).
- Promote the continuous optimization and reform of the undergraduate teaching model.
- Participate in the organization and management of teaching activities.
- Provide academic support to students and engage in other teaching-related work.
- Conduct research on teaching and the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL).
II. Job Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline within the fields of Electronics, Information, Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning.
- Strong written and oral English communication skills
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, with the demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative, high-impact curricula.
- Experience in Sino-foreign cooperatively run schools or multicultural teaching environments is highly preferred.
III. Number of Openings
2 positions (hirable by the school’s secondary institutional unit).
IV. Salary and Benefits
A competitive base salary will be provided. For exceptionally outstanding candidates, the remuneration package is negotiable.

The unit will publicly display the list of short-listed candidates who have passed the interview and evaluation.
