Teaching Fellow (Foundational Subjects)

About the Role

Warwick Law School seeks to employ a full-time, two-year Teaching Fellow to deliver teaching in one or more of our undergraduate foundation modules: Criminal Law, Tort Law, Understanding Law in Context, Constitutional & Administrative Law related modules, Contract Law, Property Law, Foundations of European Law, Law of Trusts. Preference may be given to candidates with expertise in Property Law.

Warwick Law School is renowned for its law in context approach, and we encourage candidates to apply who have experience of using this methodology. The successful candidate will be joining a welcoming team of academics and professional service staff, which emphasises support, development and collaboration.

The selection of candidates will be based on candidates’ experience and fit to the criteria detailed in the person specification.

Terms and Conditions of Employment specify that staff must live within a reasonable travelling distance of their place of work in order to fulfil all the duties of the role.

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Be expected to contribute to one or more of the School's foundation modules as given above.
• Be expected to teach and research in a law and context approach.
• Be expected to participate across the Law School's core activities, including enhancing student experience and engagement, and performing administrative and pastoral duties.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate with both students and staff colleagues.
