Teaching Fellow in Psychology

We are seeking a motivated and committed Teaching Fellow in Psychology to contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate teaching portfolio, including areas such as research methods, health and wellbeing, and environmental psychology. This fixed-term post is to provide teaching cover during a funded academic secondment and is available for up to 0.4 FTE from 1 September 2025 to 19 May 2026.

The successful candidate will join a vibrant and supportive academic community within the School of Psychology, part of the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Science. The postholder will contribute to teaching and learning in various settings, including (but not limited to) small tutorial groups, seminars, workshops, and practical classes. Responsibilities may also include developing or updating teaching materials, setting and marking assessments, and providing timely feedback to students. In addition, the Teaching Fellow may be involved in recruitment, outreach, and other student-facing support activities.

While the post is available at 0.4 FTE, we are open to appointing more than one candidate on a fractional basis, up to the combined FTE. Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
