A commitment to mentoring undergraduate students and encouraging students to major in History is essential. Departmental Engagement & Program Development: The successful candidate will actively support the Department of History and Regional Studies through participation in recruitment and promotional events. The new faculty member will collaborate with the department chair to advance the academic and strategic goals of the department. All teaching fellows are required to complete a mandatory, compensated 4-week summer faculty development institute at the end of each academic year.
