"Teaching-oriented Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation"

Job Summary: The Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at Tilburg University is seeking a teaching-oriented Assistant Professor to focus on Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation. This role involves teaching in the BSc Entrepreneurship & Business Innovation program, supervising graduation projects, and bridging academia with practical industry insights.

Responsibilities: Co-teach innovative courses on design thinking, product development, business modeling, and business planning; Collaborate with industry professionals such as entrepreneurs and investors to incorporate real-world insights; Contribute to the department's cohesion and enterprising spirit; Coach and mentor students in experiential, challenge-based learning to prepare them for societal challenges.

Qualifications and Requirements: A doctoral degree from an AACSB-accredited school or a university with outstanding credentials; Experience in teaching subfields of entrepreneurship and innovation, such as new venture growth, new product development, or business model innovation; An entrepreneurial thinker with knowledge of business modeling, design thinking, and product engineering; Familiarity with experiential and challenge-based pedagogies; Evidence of strong teaching skills and some research potential; Ability to teach in Dutch is advantageous, as is possession of a University Teaching Qualification.
