Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting education? Join us as a Teaching Support Officer based on campus at JCU’s Cairns Nguma-bada campus and play a key role in ensuring the effective preparation and delivery of teaching activities. You will provide essential administrative, coordination, and data management services, contributing to the success of academic programs and Colleges.
- HEWL 5: $78,740 - $89,310 + up to 17% employer superannuation contributions.
- Two full time, continuing position | 36.25 hours a week
- On-campus, face-to-face position located at the Cairns Nguma-bada campus in North Queensland
WHAT YOU CAN ACCOMPLISH IN THE ROLE
As the Teaching Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the quality and consistency of teaching and learning practices. You will work with academic colleagues to facilitate the preparation of subject materials, maintain accurate subject information, and collaborate with teams across campuses to ensure alignment with internal processes and external regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail and strong organisational skills will ensure efficient and effective outcomes in these areas.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Your strong communication skills, both written and verbal, will allow you to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. You will demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, along with confidence in using Microsoft Office and other digital systems or databases essential to the role.
You will have experience delivering high-quality customer service, especially in managing a high volume of enquiries. Your ability to resolve issues efficiently and provide clear, accurate advice will be key in supporting students and staff alike.
