Team Coordinator V, Career & Technical Education
The Team Coordinator V, Career & Technical Education provides program and administrative support for all programs within the unit including but not limited to the business and industry training, career and technical education, and grant programs.
Examples of Duties
- Provides excellent customer service to all current and potential customers of Career and Technical Education. This will include responding to the needs of walk-in customers as well as inquiries via E-mail, phone, and online.
- Ensures communication between all units of Career and Technical Education.
- Assists with the coordination and implementation of recurring and special programming including but not limited to information sessions, career fairs, and open houses.
- Assists with the dissemination of program marketing information.
- Maintains customer and contact databases.
- Processes all required purchase orders and check requests per the approved budget.
- Maintains customer records and department files.
- Enters student registration and payments in the college registration system.
- Prepares forms, reports, certificates, and mailings as required.
- Orders supplies and materials for programs.
- Disseminates Instructor packets and classroom textbooks.
- Responsible for the creation/cloning of classes in the college registration systems.
- Manages course close out activities including the distribution of program certificates and collection of attendance rosters and evaluations.
- Summarizes course evaluations.
- Assists instructors and administrators with information sessions and program orientations.
- Responsible for room scheduling.
- Responsible for the maintenance of program files and the addition of completed certificates to the Completion Report.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
- Three years’ experience in a related professional office environment required. Prior experience in higher ed or educational setting preferred.
- Experience with Lumens, Anthology, or similar ERP system preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Proficient in accurate processing of forms and data entry; detail oriented.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with varied hours to meet department and College needs
- Possess the ability to work well and communicate effectively with prospective and current students, staff, faculty, administration, and colleagues and community partners
