- Remuneration: $158,080 to $165,606 pa (HEW9) (inclusive of $133,579 to $139,939 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Team Leader, Digital Media Production and Design to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division.
The Team Leader, Digital Media Production and Design blends together traditional media production and content creation innovation. The role works with creatives, technical production experts and a range of QUT clients to deliver media production services which showcase education and research experiences across QUT. The Team Leader, Digital Media Production and Design considers emerging technology in the content creation landscape to enable media production and raise digital media literacy in Academic and Professional staff. The role will blend creative, technical and delivery skills, while supporting Academics in creating educational and research experiences for students and the QUT community. This role is responsible for prioritising workloads across the team and managing the competing priorities that can occur. As the Team Leader you will establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders that develop trust and ensure reliable and accurate information can be gathered and distilled into business needs to identify fit-for-purpose solution options. This position reports to the Associate Director, Education and Research for career planning, development, and performance expectations.

What you need to succeed
- Education and training equivalent to postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience in managing media delivery or learning environments in a complex educational and research environment.
- Proven leadership ability with experience in cultivating a dynamic agile team culture focused at achieving organisational goals and applying development strategies that ensure the team has the relevant skills to respond to business needs.
- Demonstrated experience in conceptualising and designing content creation spaces that leverage technology and media to enhance student engagement.
- Proven knowledge of content creation space design principles and the ability to translate stakeholder requirements into effective spatial and technological solutions which support effective media production of learning experiences.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including academics, administrators, learning designers, and technical staff
- Demonstrated passion for exploring new ideas and experimenting with emerging technologies to create more engaging and effective experiences in rapidly changing environments.
