Description
Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons is seeking multiple clinical faculty members in ophthalmology to join our expanding team in multiple subspecialties, including comprehensive ophthalmology, glaucoma, cornea, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery, pediatric ophthalmology, and retina specialist with pediatric retina and/or uveitis experience. Responsibilities include participation in the faculty practice of the Department of Ophthalmology, teaching of medical students, residents and fellows, and other educational and research activities. A track record of positive interactions with residents and fellows is highly desirable. These positions will also involve working at a new, unique, large multi-specialty medical practice in Westchester County, adjacent to New York City.
Successful candidates will be appointed to the full-time faculty at Columbia University Department of Ophthalmology with privileges at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- License (or eligible) to practice medicine in New York
- Board Certification or Eligibility (ABO) in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship training in the respective subspecialty
Academic rank and salary commensurate with experience.

Assistant Professor $102,505 - $250,000
Associate Professor Min. $110,066 - $400,000
Professor Min. $125,187- Max. $600,000
