The Imaging Facility includes multiple technologies including electron microscopy, bioimaging and cell analysis, molecular spectroscopy and metrology. Our team operate and maintain the instrument base, train and support a diverse range of users across multiple applications, arrange lectures and courses on our techniques and provide a consultancy service to companies and other Universities requiring access to our specialist equipment and expertise. This role will support each of these activities, providing the successful candidate with an opportunity to expand and broaden their expertise in these key analytical techniques.

We are looking for a motivated team player, with a keen interest and practical working experience within this field, experience of working in a laboratory environment and the associated Health and Safety considerations, and a passion to share their knowledge and expertise with a range of users.
