The role involves supporting laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, health and safety activities, stock management, practical teaching sessions and general laboratory infrastructure. You will work closely with academic, technical and professional services colleagues to ensure laboratories remain operationally ready and well maintained.
You should have practical laboratory experience gained through employment, an industrial placement, apprenticeship, higher education studies or other relevant laboratory activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop experience in laboratory operations, technical services and facility support within a busy teaching and research environment.
