Offer Description

Position available within the research project entitled "Romanian Centre of Excellence on Biodiversity, Ecosystem Services, and Society (RECOVER)" project code PN-IV-P6-6.1-CoEx-2024-0124, nr. contract 14CoEx/2026 (Centrul Român de Excelență în domeniul Biodiversitate, Servicii Ecosistemice și Societate (RECOVER)).

We are seeking a person with a bachelor degree to join our project team. The successful candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field, e.g. Ecology, with a knowledge in identifying or recognizing native vascular plant species of Romania, an expertise in plant ecology experiments, plant functional trait measurements, and data digitization, management and basic statistical analysis. The successful candidate should be able to communicate in Romanian or Hungarian or English, and to collaborate with team members to ensure the achievement of project goals and deliverables. The role involves contributing to the implementation of experiments in plant ecology, in collecting plants and seeds in grassland sites, in introducing, managing and analyzing data, and measuring plant functional traits, e.g. SLA, LDMC and seed mass

Languages: HUNGARIAN – Level: Good
Languages: ENGLISH – Level: Good
