Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Office Assistant for the Office of Learning Services is a
temporary, 20-hour-per-week position responsible for coordinating
and supporting all student testing operations. This includes
scheduling exams, coordinating and providing proctoring services,
maintaining accurate testing records, and communicating with
instructors and students to ensure testing accommodations and
procedures are implemented effectively. In addition, the position
provides essential front-office support, including answering
phones, scheduling student appointments, greeting students,
faculty, and staff, and triaging questions and concerns to the
appropriate staff or resources.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule, organize, and proctor student exams
- Serve as a point of contact for students and instructors
regarding testing schedules, procedures, and related questions
Answer phones, schedule student appointments, greet
constituents, and provide general administrative assistance
Triage student questions and concerns, provide appropriate
information and resources, and refer students accordingly

ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when
scheduling and coordinating student testing.

- Customer service and problem-solving skills with the ability to
respond professionally and appropriately to student questions and
concerns.
