General Purpose

Under the administrative direction of the Vice Chancellor, Educational Services & Institutional Effectiveness and in accordance with the provision of the Education Code, the rules and regulations of the Board of Governors of the California Community Colleges, and the policies of the District, the District Director, Trade and Training provides leadership for the District's Training Institute and International Trade program and leads its efforts in business and trade development, both domestic and international, in order to increase, expand and/or enhance workforce training opportunities for students, faculty, and community members.
