Temporary Executive (Conferences and Events)
Job Description
1. Event Planning and Execution:
- Develop, plan, and execute a diverse range of hospitality and events management, including short term conference housing and student life events.
- Create detailed event timelines and oversee on-site coordination to guarantee smooth operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their event and housing requirements.
- Communicate effectively with attendees, addressing inquiries and providing information about accommodations and event details.
2. Accommodation & Logistics:
- Collaborate with housing providers to secure suitable accommodations for event attendees.
- Manage room block reservations, negotiate rates, and logistics to ensure lodging arrangements align with the needs of guests.
- Coordinate all aspects of events, from venue selection and catering to audio-visual arrangements and transportation logistics.
3. Budget Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for events and housing, ensuring financial goals are met.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and housing providers to optimize costs and services.
4. Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with events and housing arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during events.
