Job Summary
The Department of Curriculum, Foundations, and Reading is now accepting applications for a pool of part time instructors for the 2026-2027 academic year. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses for BSED programs or graduate courses for MAT, MEd, EdS, or EdD programs.
- Teach courses in one or more of the following areas based on qualifications: Educational Psychology (EDUF), Educational Research (EDUR), Reading/Literacy Education (READ), Social Foundations of Education (EDUC and EDUF).
- Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities.
Required Qualifications
- Earned master's degree in education (for courses at 2000-5000 level) or doctoral degree in education (for courses at 6000 level or above).
- Completion of at least 18 graduate semester credit hours in one of the specified areas.
- Willingness to engage with institutional student success initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching experience in higher education.
- Expertise in assessment, human development, introductory statistics, learning theory, motivation, research methods, social foundations of education, or reading/literacy education.
