Department Information
Within this setting, the Department of Health Sciences and Kinesiology is a dynamic and growing unit of over 50 faculty and staff serving over 2,000 majors enrolled in a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs. This position will fill teaching needs within the Coaching program, which serves students in the Waters College of Health Professions.
Job Summary
The Department of Health Sciences and Kinesiology is now accepting applications for a pool of part time instructors for the 2025-2026 academic year. The Part Time Instructor in Coaching requires the individual to teach no more than 6 credits that may include coaching principles and coaching specific team sports.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Earned master's degree in coaching, or a closely related field, with at least 18 graduate semester hours in coaching
- Ability and/or willingness to learn to teach in an online environment
- Ability to contribute to a positive work environment in the Department, College, and University
- Technological literacy and a commitment to integrate technology into teaching
Proposed Salary
Commensurate with experience.
This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
