Temporary Faculty Political Science and International Studies
Job Summary
The Department of Political Science and International Studies is accepting applications for a pool of part-time faculty to teach POLS 1101 American Government for the 2024-2025 academic year. These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
Earned master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Political Science at the time of appointment.
Proposed Salary
Commensurate with experience. This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Consistently exhibit engaging customer service. Ability to support various constituencies served by the University. Proven proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, Google, and/or applications as required for specific position.
KNOWLEDGE
Adhere to University policies and procedures to meet Institutional goals and support University's mission for student success.
SKILLS
Effective communication (verbal and written), organizational and human relations skills.
