Your Role on the Team

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Schedule and coordinate patient appointments for General Medical, Specialty, and Nurse Clinics using the electronic scheduling system.

Greet patients, answer incoming calls, provide information, and deliver professional front office reception services.

Perform administrative and clerical tasks related to electronic medical records, patient registration, and document management.

Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate efficient patient flow and support daily clinic operations while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required:

Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, or high-volume customer service environment.
Experience using computerized scheduling systems, electronic medical records (EMR), or other healthcare information systems.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Preferred:

Experience working in a student health center, outpatient clinic, or ambulatory care environment.
Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with healthcare front office workflows.
Experience with electronic health record systems such as Epic or similar EMR platforms.
Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize competing responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
